Failure to Feed

The rounds had a pretty big lip between the casing and bullet and wouldn't feed reliably in my Rock Island 1911. Of the 5 rounds I used for testing, 2 failed to feed with the casing hanging up on the barrel, after the feed ramp. Underwood and S&B JHP's ran well, along with the federal FMJ's I was using.

Might run in your gun, wouldn't run in mine and the lip was pretty excessive, IMO.

It was accurate for the 5 shots. I gave the rest away. I have had better luck with Fiocchi's hyperperformance JHP in other calibers so thought I would try this one in my new 1911 but was not impressed with it and I see why it's so much cheaper than the hyperperformance.
